Favorite sketch

This seems to be my favorite sketch especially for embossing! Every time I think of embossing, I'm unable to digress from this sketch. I guess I need to come out of my comfort zone somehow. I wanted to do three images with the same stamp and have only a part of the stamp in each of the images and with no uniformity among the images. I think I was successful on that end.

Oh and worth mentioning is the video tutorial of tying a ribbon bow. What I also learnt from it is that I could make a bow separately and simply adhere it to my ribbon strip. You must be saying to yourself "duh?" LOL; well I never thought that could be done. There I was trying to tie a bow on a card like you did on a present. Never mind, better late than never! :)

  • Stamp: LAD's Jolies Fleur
  • Stamp 'n stuff silver detail embossing powder, marvy heat gun, grosgrain ribbon.

Beautiful! You are such an inspiration. Now I have an idea for a inchie swap I signed up for.

I have trouble tying a bow on my ribbon too. So I leave the ribbon out completely :-)
