This was also an image that was in my stash of colored images! I sponged the background using distress inks – Broken China, Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire. I really like the color of Chipped Sapphire! The stars are doodled using a silver gel pen and the sentiment is embossed in white embossing powder.
There are times when I just feel like coloring something. So I would stamp a few images and color them with no specific card/goal in mind. I’d collected a few such images and decided it was time to give them some meaning. I was quite surprised at how this card came together! Initially I’d these 4 colored flowers which had no coordination between their colors and I was totally at a loss on how to use them; but slowly and gradually things started falling in place. When the card was completed I loved it! Absolutely loved it!
Look at those touches with a gold gel pen! They look gorgeous! And those flourishes in the background? They added such a neat effect. I drew a border with a gold gel pen and embossed the sentiment in gold embossing powder.
This is one of my favorite cards – clean and simple!
Stamped all the images on crafter’s companion cardstock, colored with spectrum noir markers and then cut them out.
Created a rolling hill mask by fuzzy cutting printer paper. Using the mask, created the grass. Then using the reverse mask sponged the sky.
Stamped the bee trail and then added all the images. Stamped the sentiment.

Stamped the boat on a white circle cardstock. Colored it with prismacolor pencils. I used the little wave stamps to create birds too (another aha moment! I’m on a roll!!). I wanted to give the look as if the view is from a porthole. So I cut a ring from white cardstock, colored it grey with spectrum noir markers (I ran out of my grey cardstock). Then hand drew those black circles and colored them. Popped the ring on foam dots. Stamped the sentiment all around it. Doodled the periods in between the sentiment.
Stamped the images using black ink. Colored them with spectrum noir markers. Created the sentiment using the alphabet set. Added glossy accents to the hearts and stickles over the birds.
Sponged various distress inks on a white cardstock. Cut background using KNK Zing. Colored yellow circles using spectrum noir markers. Adhered pearls in the center of these circles. White Embossed the sentiment and then sponged distress ink around it. Assembled the card.
I created a mask using the copy paper and then sponged the sea bed using Antique Linen Distress ink. Moving the mask down, I then sponged the water using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. Stamped various critters and colored then using Spectrum noir markers. Stamped the sentiment on vellum.

Putting intricate images like the sentiment on foam tape requires a lot of patience! Very happy with the card, especially the rhinestones
I’m very proud of this card. Why? Because I used a tiny stamp from a stamp set as the focal point and created my own sentiment.
The design of this card took a different turn midway. My original idea was to mask an oval and have the flowers and the sentiment in the same layer. With the masking done, I thought it would be nice to emboss the oval using the nestabilities. That my friends was not a good decision. While embossing the oval die was not perfectly centered over the masked oval. So I decided to just cut out the oval. Still happy with the results!

I’ve been seeing a lot of flip-it cards so decided to give them a try. It was so much fun making this card and I love how it came out. In fact I want to make more of these flip-its. Probably with different shapes flipping.
Stamped the astronaut on a piece of white cardstock and colored with spectrum noir markers. Splattered various blue colored distress inks on a white cardstock. To splatter, impress the stamp pad on a craft sheet or other non-porous surface and then use a brush/water brush to flick ink on the cardstock. Sponged the cardstock with tumbled glass ink. Stamped and colored various space images on the base cardstock. Stamped the sentiment on vellum and added it to the cardstock base using vellum tape.
Colored the main image with spectrum noir markers. Cut the sentiment using create-a-critter cartridge. Stamped gingham background in spiced marmalade.
Masked and stamped gingham background in Peeled paint. Sponged around the edges. Colored the image in Spectrum noir markers. The little bird is a sticker. Cut a banner from white CS. Painted it with Inka gold platinum using fingers. Stamped the sentiment and then crumpled it.
Can you believe this almost a one layer card?!?!? Sponged the upper half with tumbled glass and the bottom half with Dried marigold. A painter’s tape is very helpful in masking and keeping the card in place while you sponge!
Masked the bottom half and stamped polka dot background. Embossed the bottom half with swirls EF. Sponged lightly on it with spiced marmalade. For the strip, sponged the spiced marmalade directly onto white CS. Colored the image with spectrum noir markers.
Another valentine inspiration! Created my own patterned paper by sponging distress inks dried marigold, spiced marmalade and barn door. Then stamp woodgrain background in bar door. I cut out the letters using Cricut but glittered them using the wrong color. Then I’d a light bulb moment – love those! I used the negative of the letter die cut and used it as a stencil. Colored the letters using spectrum noir markers and dotted them with white gel pen!
I made two somewhat different cards using the same stamps.
Stamped the image in memento and colored with spectrum noir markers. Sponged the card vase with Spiced marmalade, barn door and broken china. Stamped the border repeatedly with fired brick.
In this card I simply embossed the card base.
Stamped the background in versamark. Die cut an oval in the card base using nestabilities. Colored the images with spectrum noir markers and popped them up using foam tape.
Colored the rocket using spectrum noir markers. Stamped the star in Palette white ink and the planet in versamark. The sentiment is white embossed.
