Here's my entry for Allison's AFSS19 challenge. Recently during our summer cleaning (yes we didn't get time to do that during spring!), my DH found some transparencies that he didn't need and I got them all for myself! When I read about this challenge, I "clearly" saw a way to use them! Initially I wanted to make the acetate card, but I think my transparencies were too thin to be used for that purpose. So instead I just used them for the outer cover. The photos are not very enlightening, I was not able to capture what I'd done. I applied a beautiful rub-on that was sent to me by Allison (you can see the picture here) on the acetate cover such that it would form a border around the flower stamped on the CS. Then I stamped "Best Wishes" on the bottom of the acetate so that it would get the background of the DP on the CS. So it looks as it's a ribbon with a sentiment. I also doodled some flowers with a glitter pen on the transparency.
- Stamps: Lizzie Anne Designs Jolies Fleur, Flourished Words
- CS and PP: DCWV
- Stazon black ink, prismacolor pencils, OMS, rub-on, red glitter pen.

It turned out really nice. Nice touch with adding little flowers on the clear layer. I use these transparencies with my dried flower cards to protect them.
What a terrific looking card...love the idea of using rub-ons on the transparency (duh! why didn't I think of that?). Great colors too...thanks for playing!
Your card is very pretty Smriti! I have a tough time work with transparencies...*sad face*
