When I was a child I'd made these origami boxes and my mother would adorn them on her dresser. Now that I think of it, I'm amazed that how much of that junk I used to make and she would treasure it like priceless pieces. She would in fact ask me to make more :). Anyway, 20 years later I'm still making the same boxes just that they seem much more useful and beautiful :). I wanted to distribute prasad (sweets) among my friends and so I used these boxes for that purpose. You can find the instructions by Nichole Heady.
I wanted to make all of the same color but was out of ms CS! I must say that though nestabilities are very expensive but they're so useful!
- CS: DCWV
- Rubons (Courtesy: Allison), nestabilities.

They sure are lovely! The scallops on the top give them elegance. Beautiful colors.
The things mothers save. Little did you know your mother was encouraging to be creative at that time.
My mother saved my handwriting all the way from kindergarten.
Are your parents here? What pooja did you do for distributing the prasad?
